Raising big money for BBC Children in Need

To mark our Milestone Year in June, more then 500 sporty colleagues took part in a sponsored Race to Birmingham. Participants either walked 3km, ran 10km or cycled 80km to raise money for BBC Children in Need. One of our colleagues even completed the whole ride on a vintage Pashley bike while dressed in vintage regalia!

However, the crowning moment of the event was our record-breaking finale. 333 of our colleagues joined together to form the world's largest human pound sign, beating the previous Guinness World Record for human currency (previously held by a Thai bank in 2014). Altogether, our colleagues raised an impressive £250,000 for BBC Children in Need. Good job!
