Putting Champions of Change resources to use

Catshill First School, near Bromsgrove, is getting behind Champions of Change this year by helping the children to come up with their own fundraising plans. They've decided to hold a silly hair day on Friday 13th November – and will also be holding a raffle to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

Mrs Plant, headteacher from Catshill First School said “We’re really looking forward to getting behind BBC Children in Need this year and putting our Champions of Change resources to good use. Our pupils are really excited about the opportunity to ‘own’ the fundraising activities.

“We’ve already downloaded the education resources and built them into our lesson plans and are looking forward to seeing the impact they will have on our pupil’s personal development and understanding of BBC Children in Need and the positive impact that every pound they raise will have on those less fortunate than themselves. Lloyds Bank’s support of Champions of Change will help us to raise even more money this year.”
