‘Superhero Flashmob’ World Record

Reading Girls’ School is getting behind the fundraising campaign this year and has recruited a number of enthusiastic Champions of Change to drive the fundraising. The Champions have organised a non-uniform day with the theme of Superheroes/Childhood Heroes and they are also planning a ‘Superhero Flashmob’ World Record challenge on Appeal day, 13 November. Leading up to the Appeal, the Champions of Change have converted the school foyer into their fundraising base and are getting the support of local businesses to donate prizes for their raffle and will also host a celebration charity concert as well as various other events and activities within the school to raise awareness and funds for BBC Children in Need.

Ms Mercedes Spence, Assistant Head of Technology & Art from Reading Girls’ School said “We’re really looking forward to getting behind BBC Children in Need this year and putting our Champions of Change Reward Kit to good use. Our pupils are really excited about the opportunity to ‘own’ the fundraising activities.”
