Top prize at the European Sponsorship Awards for the Social Entrepreneurs Programme

The Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs programme, delivered in partnership with School for Social Entrepreneurs, was awarded the top prize in the category of B2B activation at the European Sponsorship Awards, following a comprehensive judging process that evaluated sponsorship campaign entries from across Europe.

The programme comprises of practical facilitated learning, in addition to financial grants provided on behalf of Big Lottery Fund, to help Start Up entrepreneurs develop their social enterprise idea.

Paula Rogers, Head of the Social Entrepreneurs Enterprise Programme at Lloyds Banking Group said: “Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs is a pioneering programme which supports businesses that have the vision to make a difference. We have seen first-hand the positive impact that social entrepreneurs have in our society and know of the immense benefit of nurturing their commitment. We are delighted to have been awarded an ESA Excellence Award in recognition.
